With the primary target of the promotion of the MSMEs, the State Government is taking participation in the process of the establishment of the PEP (Precision Engineering Industrial Park) located at Madharam. They want to boost the promotion of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). This is why they have planned to set up an Industrial Park in the district of the Medchal. The main motive of this project is to assist small-scale entrepreneurs to benefit them in their businesses and come up with a huge success in the industry.

On Wednesday, the meeting had conducted between the Shiva Kumar (Deputy Collector of the State Management), MSME management of Kapra and the Chairman.

Gyadari Balamallu, the Chairman of the TSIIC (Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation), questioned the concerned officer to speed up the process of procurement of 300 acres land, which is supposed to be used for building the industrial park at Madharam (Ghatkesar).

During this meeting, Balamallu said that the park will be entirely developed for exactitude engineering units of the industry in and nearby Hyderabad. When the park will be completed, near about 1500 precision engineering Industrial units will be moved to Madharam that include MSMEs of Kapra manufacturing region. It had also confirmed that most of these units implement job works in the precision engineering for lots of primary companies, named as BDL, EXIL, BHEL, Tata Aerospace, HAL, RCI, BEL, Midhani, Railways, DRDO, DRDL, and a lot more. More than 20,000 people will be given employment directly in above than 1500 small units while it will provide the indirect jobs to another 30k people in the area.

The development project had shown in the meeting that was followed by a representation acquiesced by small businesspersons, who are looking for the attainment of 135 acres land so that they can inaugurate their ventures. Through this representation, they tried to inform the Government about the issues they were facing in running their units from the leased premises. This was the only way to make sure to take the advantages such as capital cost, power, sales tax, and other frontages for their ventures by the Government

To build the industrial park, the officers will take 300 acres of land, in which 200 acres will be of the assigned land and the remaining 100 acres will be of the government land. Mr. Balamallu restated that K Chandrashekhar Rao and KT Rama Rao, the Chief Minister and the Industries Minister respectively, have already questioned the District Collector to accelerate the land procurement and give up the lands to the State Government after making sure the payment of unpaid compensation to farmers.

He told that Rama Rao, Industries Minister was showing special interest in this development project and made some efforts to resolve the issues faced by MSMEs. The request from MSMEs for procurement of the land was under active contemplation of the State Government. He said, “299 acres of allocated land in Madharam had been acknowledged for the development project for the sake of MSMEs.”
